Features: The value goals of law are extremely diverse. Compared to the previous edition of this book, this edition has removed the discussions on utility, civilization, democracy, the rule of law, reason, and rights, and has revised the previous discussions on justice to those on fairness. This does not mean that these deleted or revised value goals are no longer value goals. These objectives should always remain the pursuit of law's value. It is only because I believe that the fundamental value goals of law should be more closely aligned with the law's value subjects—human beings. This book attempts to recognize the value of law by taking human beings as a stricter sense of starting point, destination, and center, which is why there is an effort to list the value of life as one of the value goals, and why there has been a change in not specifically discussing value goals that are somewhat distant from the subject. This book is still not my complete understanding of the value of law; it is merely a record of my more authentic understanding of the value of law. I hope it can better reflect my understanding of the value of law.
