Features: This book brings together prominent figures from the business and political worlds, whose destinies oscillate between reality and transcendence. How much of their true stories of entering the business world and entering politics can they share with us? The footprints they leave behind on the path of transformation reveal what kind of heartbeats they represent. The social evolution they embody will bring what changes to China's political and economic landscape? Why would a mid-Sea Palace civil servant, deeply immersed in an official-centric culture, suddenly choose to dive into the business world? Is the real reason truly just the impulse to "seek a different life"? How could an obscure private entrepreneur suddenly grow into a representative of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China or a high-ranking official at the ministerial or provincial level? Is all of this merely coincidental, a simple case of tears of joy over good fortune? After three years of effort, the author not only paints a complete picture of the transformation between officials and merchants but also conducts a truth-seeking verification, offering a macro-historical critique of this scene in China's changing landscape. This book should not be seen as a guide for officials entering the business world or a manual for bosses seeking political power, but it may still be of help to officials and bosses eager to take the plunge. The author's true intention lies in urging the public to adopt an open-minded attitude toward the transformation of officials and merchants, while also urging them to keep a vigilant eye to discern the undercurrents lurking within.
