Features: China is a literary powerhouse, and classical literature is a magnificent gem that grows in the soil of our national traditional culture. Our nation's traditional cultural spirit has nurtured it, making it dazzling and fragrant. As one of the forms of classical literature, dramatic art has long been regarded as a tool for moral education on the stage and an illustrative means to reform customs and rectify the people's hearts. For thousands of years, it has nurtured our national culture with a spirit of upholding good and condemning evil, promoting justice and eliminating evil, and has cultivated a culture of truth, goodness, and beauty. Any nation that belittles its own traditional cultural spirit will be powerless to stand among modern nations; denying or ignoring the inheritance of the spirit of truth, goodness, and beauty in our national culture is tantamount to cutting off its roots. Without roots, how can there be flourishing flowers and lush leaves! Based on this idea, we have invited a group of experts and scholars to rewrite some excellent classical dramas and stories into popular tales, editing and releasing this series of "Chinese Classical Literature Story Books" in separate volumes and batches to delight readers. Zhao's Orphan, a Yuan Dynasty, is a world-famous tragedy. Its characters and story are based on records in historical books such as the Zuo Zhuan and the Records of the Grand Historian. It has a clear theme and a plot, and has been extremely popular on stage among the masses. As early as the 17th century, it was introduced to Europe and was equally well-received by foreign audiences. In today's deep reform and opening-up, to promote outstanding national culture, introducing this classical masterpiece in the form of popular literature to contemporary youth is undoubtedly meaningful. Cheng Yin is the main protagonist of this book, representing the side of justice in the conflict between justice and evil. Gongsun Chuji is the second righteous man in this book. Historical stories are different from history. History must be factual, and characters and events cannot be even slightly false. Historical stories, however, are about being realistic in appearance. A single "seem" allows the author to have more freedom and a vast space for creative inspiration.
