Features: Jiang Yilang, born on December 26, 1962, in Wenling, Zhejiang, began publishing over 600 poems in journals such as Shikkan (Poetry Magazine), Tianya (The Edge), Renmin Wenxue (People's Literature), Beijing Wenxue (Beijing Literature), and Qingnian Wenxue (Youth Literature) starting in 1981. He has won poetry awards from journals like Shikkan, Xingxing (Stars), Feitian (Flying Apotheosis), and Jiangnan (South of the Yangtze). His recent works have been selected for authoritative anthologies such as 1999 China New Poetry Annual, 2000/2001 China Annual Best Poetry, and 2000/2001 China Poetry Selection. His poetry collection Lanterns in the Wind won the Zhejiang Writers' Association Outstanding Work Award. In 2000, he participated in the 16th Youth Poetry Conference of the China Writers' Association Poetry Magazine. He joined the Zhejiang Writers' Association in 1986 and serves as the deputy secretary of the Taizhou Writers' Association.
