Features: In the 21st century, world higher education has shifted from elite education to mass education. To adapt to this trend, China has gradually promoted higher education towards massification, and cultivating applied talents has become an important component of talent development in ordinary universities, receiving widespread support from all sectors of society. To popularize CAD technology and cultivate technical talents for the 21st century, the author, combining years of teaching and research experience, has written this book by referring to many relevant books, textbooks, and research papers published in recent years. This book discusses the basic techniques of microcomputer CAD system design, focusing on 3D modeling design in AutoCAD and AutoLISP programming. The main reasons for this are: (1) Since its introduction in 1982, AutoCAD has continuously upgraded its versions, improving its performance, and has become a widely used and dynamic microcomputer CAD software; (2) AutoCAD has been recognized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other ministries and commissions as a standard or preferred development platform for microcomputer CAD application systems; (3) The key to effectively developing CAD applications lies in secondary development, and AutoLISP programming is simple and easy to learn; (4) 3D modeling design aligns with the thinking patterns of designers, is intuitive and easy to understand, and prepares the groundwork for subsequent processing.
