Features: Personality Determines Fate
What is personality? Personality is the psychological characteristics that a person demonstrates in their attitudes and behaviors when dealing with people and things. Some are impulsive, some timid, some stubborn, and some indecisive. Moreover, as the saying goes, "the landscape may change, but nature is hard to alter," and every person's personality will follow them until the end of their days. Personality determines behavior, and behavior determines fate. (Zi Wei Dou Shu) can be considered the world's earliest and most complete scientific classification of personality and behavior. It uses two parameters—date of birth and gender—to accurately calculate a person's personality and the potential fate that this personality may bring. Therefore, we can say that is a comprehensive EQ (Emotional Intelligence) analysis and behavioral science, but it differs from Western psychology research because it uses the time of birth as the basis for judgment, giving it a unique significance in classification.
In a survey of the top 500 business managers worldwide, it was found that the essential requirement for a successful person is not IQ (Intelligence Quotient) but EQ (Emotional Intelligence). Another survey revealed that over the past 20 years, the average IQ of successful individuals in American politics and business has only been average, while their EQ has been high. Emotional intelligence can be learned—it can be innate, learned through study, or acquired through adversity. is an excellent tool for EQ analysis and learning, yet it has been misused, which is a pity.
It should be noted that while personality determines fate—as the proverb says, "greedy men die for wealth, martyrs die for fame, and chaste women die for virtue"—the same personality can manifest at different levels. For example, the same kind of persistence can be seen in a gambler who spends all their wealth in a casino and in a religious figure who is willing to sacrifice themselves. These are vastly different in level; similarly, the same kind of changeability can be seen in a politician who shifts with the wind in politics and in a navigator who adapts to changing circumstances. Therefore, while personality determines fate, different post-natal environments and the cultural connotations accumulated through learning can also lead to different destinies!
