Features: Throughout the history of science, there have been many great scientists who have led us to unravel mysteries and discover truths, like giants, who fell one after another, guiding us across the abyss of ignorance and climbing to the peak of truth. Newton is one of the most important and greatest giants among them. He stood at the center of the scientific tide, one hand encompassing all the wisdom of humanity, and the other hand opening the door to modern science. But do you know? All his great inventions drew inspiration from small observations and reflections in daily life—perhaps a small toy, a game, or an apple. Now, let's follow Newton and try to see the world from a grain of sand, glimpse the universe from an apple. This book is one of the "Meet the Masters" series, with both Chinese and English versions, suitable for teenagers and students to read leisurely, or as supplementary reading material for English learning. "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants." Newton, the scientific giant who laid the foundation for modern science and pioneered a new era in celestial mechanics, said these words filled with gratitude and humility when he was at the height of his fame. He devoted his life, his lifelong wisdom, and passion to studying physical phenomena, discovering the theory of optics, "universal gravitation," and "Newton's three laws." These physics theories, which sound both familiar and seemingly profound, are actually closely related to our daily lives! The author of this book takes us back to Newton's childhood, guiding us through the growth process of a great scientist. Through his eyes, we observe the various phenomena we are accustomed to; through his wisdom, we contemplate and soar in the universe. Illustrator Ivan Kistya also enriches our reading experience with lively and vibrant illustrations, vivid expressions, and many humorous supporting characters. The skillful combination of literature, science, and art gives this book an extraordinary charm.
