CHAPTER 1 Sensuality, What is Sensuality? Type "sensuality" into the GOOGLE website and select only Chinese search sites, and you can get about 555,000 web pages (February 12, 2003). As expected, most of them are "sensational girls"—often beautiful women in revealing clothing, either showcasing large breasts and hips or highlighting flowing long hair; their expressions are alluring, and their poses range from playing with their hair to tousling it. Additionally, there are "sensational calendars," "sensational lingerie," "related swimwear," and so on. Of course, these are still "sensational girls." Sensational girls are what countless people are happy to see. The British magazine FHM selects the "World's Most Sensational Actresses" every year, and Zhang Ziyi was named the "2001 Sensational Queen" by the Chinese edition of the magazine. Yet, there are also "sensational sports," "sensational football," "sensational perfumes," and even a certain proportion of mobile phones or cars. How could a mobile phone possibly be "sensational"?
