Author: Liu Tao, edited by Lü Chunxin
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-08-01
Features: The characteristics of this series of books are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:
First, in terms of material selection, the compilers of this series adhere to the principle that narrative texts should be genuine and emotional, expository texts should be as close to the times as possible, and argumentative texts should avoid clichés. Although Chinese language education has made significant progress through continuous reform, and still exist in many Chinese language readers and even middle school exam questions. Such articles are difficult to gain readers' recognition and fail to serve educational purposes.
Second, the compilers have always believed that reading and writing are an integrated process. Artificially separating the two contradicts students' learning and cognitive patterns. Therefore, in this series, the compilers have included approximately 20 pages of "Reading Appreciation and Writing Skills," which are attached after every two sets of literature training, complementing the main content of the book. After students have undergone intensive test training, they can relax, appreciate beautiful texts, and reflect on life. At the same time, these articles are also excellent writing materials. With persistent daily accumulation, they can become useful tools for writing in the future.
Third, this series is designed in 16K format, with each set containing 4-5 pages. Each set is designed for a 45-minute training session and can be torn off and used as a loose-leaf test paper. Students can use it for self-assessment, or teachers can arrange for group use. This layout reflects the principles of convenience and practicality.
