Wave--The Legend of a Traitor's Life

Author: [Germany] Guan Yuqian
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2001-05-01
Features: Every Chinese person's experience is a book, a history, and a miracle. Those who are neurotic, simple-minded, overly naive, overly outstanding, or overly self-confident often cannot withstand the tests and tricks of history, the excitement and confusion of change, the hardships and sacrifices of progress. They often become victims crushed by the wheel of history, their short lives turning into terrible tragedies. However, history finally protected him, his patriotism protected him, his moral bottom line protected him, and upright people from all over the world, especially his wife, protected him. His perseverance and struggle completed him. When he looks back, he still feels flushed and sighs deeply; but finally, he can also show a clear smile on his face. He wrote all this down honestly and vividly. What he wrote is more like a confessional record and a history of blood and tears than a documentary novel. From it, we can find some truly moving things.
