I don't know if it's testicular inflammation?

Patient's question:

I've had this condition for about 7 or 8 weeks. The symptoms are a persistent dark red spot on the left side of my scrotum, and occasionally, after a few days or 10 days, it will unconsciously develop a bump about 4 millimeters in size. However, within a few hours, the bump disappears, while the dark red spot remains. What could be causing this? Is it testicular inflammation?

Doctor's answer:

The symptoms of orchitis are as follows: high fever, chills, pain in the affected testicle, and referred pain in the scrotum, groin, and inguinal region. The affected testicle becomes swollen and tender. If inflamed, it may feel like a sensation of pus accumulation upon palpation. For orchitis patients, timely treatment can reduce the risk of complications. If left untreated, it may affect fertility. Therefore, patients should seek timely symptomatic treatment and avoid overexertion in daily life while paying attention to personal hygiene.
