Features: To deepen the study of Deng Xiaoping Theory, in accordance with the Ministry of Education's requirement for "Deng Xiaoping Theory into textbooks, classrooms, and minds," Peking University offered the "Deng Xiaoping Theory Course" to third-year undergraduates in the second half of 1997 by 12 renowned professors, including Wu Shuqing. The course was warmly welcomed by students and sparked strong response on campus. In response to reader requests, their lecture notes have been compiled into this book for reference. The lecture notes are arranged in the order of the course progress. At the end of the book, two articles written by Zhan Nan are appended, from which readers can understand the basic ideas, approaches, and key experiences of this course.
