Features: The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an international examination jointly organized by the Japan Foundation and the Japan International Education Association. It is designed for non-native speakers of Japanese, aiming to assess and recognize the daily language proficiency of foreigners who have studied Japanese in Japan and abroad. Based on the "JLPT Test Content Guidelines" provided by the Japan Foundation, the authors have supplemented the vocabulary section with a large number of commonly used words and example sentences, drawing on their experience in JLPT administration and years of teaching. Through memorizing these words, candidates can learn many useful sentences, while these sentences can further enhance their understanding and retention of the words, as well as help them master many idiomatic expressions. The JLPT consists of four levels, with Level 1 being the highest. Although the test is divided into four levels, they form an inseparable series. Levels 1, 2, and 3 each cover content from lower levels, so candidates for these levels must master not only the content of their respective levels but also that of the lower levels. To give candidates a practical understanding of the JLPT, this book includes the 1998 Level 1 and Level 2 test papers and answer keys. This book is suitable for candidates preparing for the JLPT, as well as for other learners of Japanese.
