Engineering Mechanics (Kinematics and Dynamics) (Revised Edition 1997)

Author: University of Science and Technology Beijing
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1997-07-01
Features: This book is based on the original "Engineering Mechanics" co-authored by the former Beijing University of Iron and Steel Technology and the former Northeastern University of Technology in 1979. It maintains the original system and characteristics while being revised according to the needs of educational reform, as well as relevant new regulations and standards in the country. The original "Engineering Mechanics" (Volumes I, II, and III) has been revised into "Statics," "Mechanics of Materials," and "Kinematics and Dynamics," with each volume published independently. This book is primarily intended for students in higher engineering colleges majoring in metallurgy, geology, mining, light industry, materials, petroleum, and heat processing, among other fields, for theoretical mechanics, mechanics of materials, or engineering mechanics courses with fewer credit hours. It can also be used as a reference for relevant technical personnel. The contributors to this revision include:
- Ji Bingyan (University of Science and Technology Beijing, formerly Beijing University of Iron and Steel Technology): Chapters 2 to 4 of "Statics," Chapters 4 to 6 of "Mechanics of Materials";
- Qu Ge (University of Science and Technology Beijing, formerly Beijing University of Iron and Steel Technology): Chapters 5 and 6 of "Statics," Chapters 2 to 3 of "Mechanics of Materials";
- Zhou Kangnian (Northeastern University, formerly Northeastern University of Technology): Chapters 7 to 10 of "Mechanics of Materials";
- Yin Ruzhen (Northeastern University, formerly Northeastern University of Technology): Chapters 3, 4, 8, and 10 of "Kinematics and Dynamics";
- Liu Sihan (Shandong Light Industry University): Chapters 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, and 9 of "Kinematics and Dynamics."
