Prostatitis urethritis, what foods are good to eat?

Patient's question:

I am relatively young, and I have very little sexual activity, but I do have the habit of intercourse. Recently, I have been feeling that urination is not smooth, and even after finishing, I always feel very uncomfortable. Later, I had some tests done, and the doctor said I have mild prostatitis. What should I eat or do for my health?

Doctor's answer:

Prostatitis generally causes recurring symptoms such as frequent urination, urinary pain, difficulty urinating, pain in the perineum and lower abdomen. It may also lead to sexual dysfunction, such as reduced libido, premature ejaculation, and frequent nocturnal emissions. It is recommended to use levofloxacin hydrochloride and Sanjin tablets for treatment. Drinking plenty of water and urinating frequently can prevent highly concentrated urine from irritating the prostate and help expel bacteria from the urine in a timely manner. Avoid spicy and stimulating foods, as well as smoking and alcohol consumption. Additionally, hot water (sit baths), physical therapy, and prostate massage can be beneficial.
