Publishing Date: 2004-07-01
Features: This book is the research outcome of the Beijing Higher Education Excellent Teaching Material Project. The original edition won the Second Prize of the National Education Commission's Excellent Teaching Material Award. The book is divided into two volumes, with this volume covering instrumental analysis. Based on the 1994 published Analytical Chemistry (Instrumental Analysis Part), this revision incorporates the current status and trends of instrumental analysis as well as the realities of domestic teaching. While maintaining the original book's organization and features, it appropriately enhances the discussion on organic structure analysis and analytical problems related to life sciences, and introduces recent advancements in instrumental analysis. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and mass spectrometry have been separated from the general introduction to other instrumental analysis methods and made into independent chapters. Additionally, a new chapter on molecular luminescence analysis has been added. New instruments and methods are emphasized throughout each chapter. The book adopts legal metrological units, and reference answers to selected exercises are provided at the end. This book can serve as a textbook for instrumental analysis courses in chemistry and applied chemistry programs at normal universities, as well as a teaching reference for relevant disciplines in universities of science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine.
