Features: To regulate the work of applying for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing and ensure the quality of degree conferment, the 16th meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee decided to add the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Equivalent Academic Standing Applicants for Master's Degrees. Starting from September 1, 1999, applicants for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing who obtain the "Certificate of Qualification for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level" in their respective disciplines will be required to meet this condition to be eligible for the master's degree. The purpose of the Comprehensive Academic Level Examination is to strengthen the macro-control and standardized management of the conferment of master's degrees to applicants with equivalent academic standing, and it is an important part of the national organization that evaluates the professional knowledge structure and level of applicants for master's degrees based on equivalent academic standing. In 1998, experts were organized to write and publish the "Outline and Guide for the National Unified Examination on Comprehensive Academic Level for Equivalent Academic Standing Applicants for Master's Degrees in Education." Over the past five years, based on the suggestions of a large number of examinees and relevant experts, we have revised this book carefully on the basis of summarizing the experience of the unified examination. The revised outline (Second Edition) will serve as the basis for the unified examination questions for the Comprehensive Academic Level Examination for applicants with equivalent academic standing for the next few years, providing reference for universities and colleges in teaching and tutoring, and can also be used as reference materials for examinees in review and preparation.
