Features: This book is based on the "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Engineering Graphics and Mechanical Drawing Courses in Higher Education Institutions (Suitable for Mechanical Specialty)" and "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Computer Graphics Courses" issued by the Ministry of Education in 1995, and is compiled by summarizing the experience of teaching reform in recent years. This book breaks the traditional model of drafting textbooks, organically integrating descriptive geometry, mechanical drawing, and computer graphics, and adds some design content to broaden students' knowledge. The main contents of this book include: the theoretical foundation of orthogonal projection, the theoretical foundation of computer graphics, functional analysis and configuration design, three-dimensional graphical methods, two-dimensional graphical methods, common representation methods of machine parts, fasteners, transmission parts and commonly used parts, as well as assembly drawings and part drawings. This textbook can be used as teaching material for engineering graphics courses in mechanical and near-mechanical disciplines at universities and colleges, and can also be referenced by teachers, students, and engineering technicians from other disciplines. In addition, Higher Education Press also publishes a companion "Exercises for Learning Modern Mechanical Engineering Graphics" to accompany this book for selection by various institutions. This textbook is organized and compiled by the Shanghai Education Commission.
