Features: Today, research in various disciplines is gradually recognizing that the ways in which language use changes are closely linked to broad sociocultural processes. Consequently, they are also gradually becoming aware of the importance of using language analysis as a method to study social change. However, there is no existing language analysis method that is both suitable for theory and practice. Therefore, the main purpose of this book is to develop a method for language analysis that aims to fill a certain gap: it is particularly useful for studying changes in language research and is also suitable for studying sociocultural changes.
