Mathematical Analysis (Second Edition) Volume 2 (Volume 2)

Author: Chen Chuanzhang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1983-11-26
Features: Based on the "Mathematical Analysis" (1979 edition) compiled by Chen Chuanzhang and others from the Department of Mathematics, Fudan University, this book has been revised by the author according to recent teaching practices. The revision, in addition to correcting textual and content errors and rewriting parts of indefinite and definite integrals, primarily aimed to adapt to teaching needs by rearranging the order of some chapters. The 10th section of the 8th chapter, "Derivatives of Vector-Valued Functions," from the original edition has been moved to the end of the book as an appendix. This book is the second volume, covering topics such as numerical series and improper integrals; function series, power series, Fourier series, and Fourier transforms; limits and continuity, partial derivatives, and total differentials of multivariable functions; extreme value theory, the existence theorem of implicit functions, and function relationships; integrals with parameters and improper integrals; multivariable integral calculus (double integrals, line integrals, surface integrals, and an introduction to field theory). This book can serve as a textbook for mathematics departments in comprehensive universities and normal universities.
