Features: The teaching content of this book is roughly equivalent in breadth to the current "Basic Requirements for Teaching Higher Mathematics." Following the requirement of permeating modern mathematics and strengthening the cultivation of applied abilities, some traditional content has been reprocessed. Greater emphasis is placed on the geometric meaning and practical background of basic concepts, theorems, and important formulas, highlighting the fundamental role of calculus. This book is a research outcome of the Ministry of Education's "Reform Plan for Teaching Content and Curriculum Systems in Higher Education Towards the 21st Century" and is a 21st-century curriculum textbook. Based on the "Higher Mathematics" compiled by Tongji University, this book was written in line with the reform spirit as a 21st-century curriculum textbook. The entire book is divided into two volumes. The first volume covers single-variable calculus and differential equations, while the second volume covers spatial analytical geometry, multivariable calculus, and infinite series.
