Features: Clara Zetkin (1857-1933) was an outstanding woman activist in the German labor movement and the international labor movement, and one of the founders of the German Communist Party. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to the cause of the working class and gave everything she had. At the same time, she made outstanding contributions to the international women's movement. The Women's Congress held in Copenhagen in 1910 declared March 8th as International Women's Day, a holiday proposed by Zetkin at the conference.
