Features: In modern society, with economic development, improved labor conditions, higher living standards, and increased leisure time, tourism has gradually become an important part of people's social lives, becoming a need in both material and spiritual life. People either wander among famous mountains and rivers to appreciate natural scenery, or immerse themselves in historical sites to experience the of history; or savor the customs of a foreign land to feel foreign culture—the purpose is to regulate the pace of life and seek material and spiritual enjoyment. The popularization of tourism has made people more concerned about this large-scale social and cultural phenomenon and its participants, leading to reflections on a series of questions: What drives people to leave their familiar homes, spending time, effort, and money to travel to distant places? Among numerous tourist destinations, how do people choose their destinations? How can tourist destinations attract more tourists to purchase tourism products? How can tourism services be developed to meet the needs of tourists? What are the differences between tourism service enterprise management and management in other industries? Tourism psychology emerged and developed out of the need to study tourism participants.
