To reflect new teaching and research achievements, while maintaining the theoretical and logical system of the Renmin University of China textbook, the author has adjusted some chapters of the original book. Specifically, a new chapter titled "Basic Forms of International Political Interaction" has been added, while two chapters, "Legal Norms and Standards of International Politics" and "Basic Types of Inter-State Relations," have been removed. The original "Introduction" section has been expanded and divided into two chapters: "Introduction" and "Basic Theories of International Politics." Other sections, such as "Factors of International Politics," "International System and International Structure," etc., have also undergone significant adjustments. However, to preserve the style and features of the Renmin University of China textbook and maintain the continuity of the revision, many chapters of this book still retain a large amount of content from the second revision. The revision of this book has a more reasonable structure, clearer levels, and a more distinct line of reasoning compared to the first edition, making it an indispensable textbook for studying international politics.
