Features: This book "Cadastral Management" was recommended by the former State Land Administration Bureau and approved by the Ministry of Education as a national key textbook for general higher education under the "Nineteen-Ninety-Five" national development plan (File No. [1997]16 of the Ministry of Education). Compared to the 1994 edition, this version of the textbook has the following characteristics: (1) A significant adjustment was made in the system, expanding the original seven chapters into five parts and fifteen chapters. Part Conclusion: Chapter 1 discusses the concepts and content system of cadastre and cadastral management, while Chapter 2 introduces the historical evolution of cadastral management; Part Land Survey: Chapters 3 to 6 elaborate on the main contents and methods of current land use survey, cadastral survey, land condition survey, and dynamic remote sensing monitoring of land use, as well as their interrelationships; Part Land Registration: Chapters 7 to 10 explain the theoretical basis of land registration, the procedures and methods of initial and change land registration, the determination of land tenure, and the resolution of disputes; Part Land Statistics: Chapters 11 to 13 discuss the principles of land statistics, introduce the content of land statistics, and present China's current land statistics system; Part Conclusion includes Chapter 14 on cadastral file management and Chapter 15 on cadastral management information systems, thereby enriching and expanding the content system of cadastral management; (2) Based on the relevant provisions of the newly revised "Land Administration Law," content such as land condition survey, dynamic remote sensing monitoring of land use, determination of land tenure, resolution of disputes, and cadastral management information systems has been added; (3) To avoid repetition with other textbooks, the chapter on land grading and valuation has been removed; (4) The development history of cadastral management since the founding of the country, especially since the reform and opening-up, has been enriched, and the land registration system has been supplemented. The content of initial and change land registration has been expanded and refined.
