Features: This textbook, "Comparative Public Finance," is a key textbook for the "Nineth Five-Year Plan" under the Ministry of Education. I have been researching Western public finance and comparative public finance issues for over 10 years, and formally began teaching comparative public finance in 1991. Over the past six or seven years, I have consistently engaged in teaching and research in comparative public finance, publishing approximately 50 papers on comparative public finance in various open-access journals. Based on my doctoral dissertation, "Comparative Study of Chinese and Western Public Finance," I also published the book "Public Finance, Planning, and Market—Comparative Study and Reference between Chinese and Western Public Finance." It is on the basis of these efforts that this textbook has been formed.
