How to deal with a 20-day-old baby with cerebral palsy?

Patient's question:

Appeared asphyxiation (the doctor said it lasted quite a long time), then used medicine for the lungs (called something like bovine lung activity), breathing improved. On the 10th day, a CT and lung imaging were done, and the doctor said it was ischemic-hypoxic encephalopathy, quite serious.

Doctor's answer:

Cerebral palsy refers to a syndrome caused by non-progressive brain damage due to certain reasons before birth, during birth, or in the early stages of infancy. It primarily manifests as central motor disorders and abnormal postures, and may be accompanied by intellectual delays, seizures, behavioral abnormalities, sensory impairments, and other abnormalities. Children with cerebral palsy have lower motor abilities than their peers of the same age and poor motor self-control. In mild cases, the movements of their hands and feet may appear slightly clumsy or uncoordinated. In severe cases, they may be unable to grasp objects with both hands, walk with both feet, or exhibit symptoms such as equinus (heels not touching the ground) or scissoring gait (crossed legs while walking). Some may even be unable to roll over, sit up, stand, chew properly, or swallow normally.
