Features: Since 1997, we have carried out substantial reforms in the master's program curriculum system: (1) Appropriately increase the proportion of course teaching in the entire master's program training process. (2) Treat the curriculum settings of the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral training stages as a unified system, considering them comprehensively and creating distinct levels. Set courses and determine teaching content according to the training objectives of master's students. (3) Adhering to the principle of "broad, thick foundation," broaden the knowledge fields of master's students and set core courses—discipline foundation courses—that are open to all majors within each first-level discipline. (4) Unify course setting standards and establish a standardized curriculum system composed of four categories: public courses, discipline foundation courses, professional courses, and elective courses. With this foundation of a more standardized curriculum system in place, we then began organizing the compilation of a series of master's program textbooks. The focus of the compiled textbooks is: public course textbooks open to all disciplines across the entire university, as well as discipline foundation course textbooks open to all majors within each first-level discipline. Now, presented before the readers are the series of master's program textbooks we organized and compiled.
