Wondering what are the symptoms of balanitis?

Patient's question:

Recently, I've been experiencing severe pain in the lower abdomen, frequent and urgent urination, a stinging sensation during urination, and significant redness and swelling of the glans. It's very sensitive to touch. There are white grains under the glans, and my libido has decreased significantly. I went to the hospital for a thorough examination, and the doctor said it's balanitis. What are the symptoms?

Doctor's answer:

Balanoposthitis can be classified into the following types:
(1) Acute superficial balanitis: Initially, the affected area becomes red, the skin of the penis becomes red and swollen, and a burning sensation and itching are felt on the glans.
(2) Circumferential purulent balanitis: Red spots appear on the glans and foreskin, gradually expanding into a ring shape, which may form superficial ulcers.
(3) Candidal balanitis: Red spots are visible on the foreskin and glans, with a smooth surface and small blisters.
(4) Trichomoniasis balanitis: Bumps and red spots appear on the glans, with tiny water blisters the size of needles on the red spots, eventually forming erosions.
