Over the past year and a half, experts and scholars from these two key disciplines at Renmin University of China and Wuhan University have conducted extensive and in-depth research on various issues of educational reform and development, taking the construction of teaching materials in Marxist theory and ideological and political education as a starting point. The series of teaching materials in Marxist theory and ideological and political education now published is the result of collaborative research by experts and scholars from these two universities, in partnership with scholars from many other domestic institutions. This series of textbooks has made active explorations in terms of content, form, system, and structure, striving for innovation in the overall design of the textbooks to better reflect their timeliness, relevance, effectiveness, and vividness. The writing of these textbooks has been supported by the care, attention, and assistance of relevant leaders from the Ministry of Education and many university experts and scholars. Renmin University of China Press has put in tremendous effort in the writing and publication of these textbooks. Here, we express our heartfelt gratitude.
