After retirement, many institutions still invite him to give lectures. I have always believed that closing arguments and defense statements are professional works, with their primary audience being judges. Their sole task is to persuade judges to support their viewpoint. Given the heavy workload and tight trial schedules of judges, the characteristics of my closing arguments and defense statements are: targeted, hitting the key points, avoiding unnecessary details, and striving to be as concise and clear as possible, so that readers can understand and be convinced at a glance. Based on this principle, my closing arguments and defense statements have never exceeded 6,000 words, with the goal of being brief, to the point, and concise.
