In terms of research methodology, the book tends to adopt typical cases, as these are more effective than theories in illustrating subtle differences. Treating the information disclosure system as a complete legal design is a meaningful attempt both theoretically and practically. It allows the theory of information disclosure to be fully reflected in various aspects of securities regulations, thereby making the standards of the primary and secondary markets more unified and harmonious. Of course, the author is fully aware that the information disclosure system is not the only feasible approach to regulating the securities market, although it may be the core method. In terms of data sources, most of the material is derived from the doctrines and judgments of common law jurisdictions, as the concept and system of information disclosure are more deeply rooted and more well-developed in these legal systems.
