Publish Date: 2000-08-01
Features: The cases selected in this book cover a wide range of topics, including various civil (administrative) intellectual property cases. Many of them are unique or new cases specific to Beijing courts, such as administrative patent cases and infringement disputes involving the internet. The time span is long, encompassing cases heard by higher, intermediate, and grassroots courts over more than ten years. The cases were primarily concluded through judgments and mediation, all being final rulings, including some that were final upon first instance and others that were final upon second instance. Some cases have previously drawn strong responses domestically and internationally, and's comments are appended to them. The greatest difference between this book and similar case collections published in society is that, after each category of cases, we specially invite authoritative experts, scholars, or officials from China's intellectual property field to provide personal comments on the cases.
