Legal Handbook for the Protection of Minors (Second Edition, 2004)

Author: Compiled by the Legal Publishing Center
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2004-06-01
Features: Since the "Common Legal Handbook Series" began to be compiled and published in 2000, nearly 30 legal handbooks applicable to different fields have been published, covering almost all aspects of people's lives. Recently, with the acceleration of China's legislative process, the number of revised and abolished laws and regulations in various legal handbooks has gradually increased. Therefore, we have selected several legal handbooks closely related to people's lives for revision and re-publication, removing abolished documents from each handbook and replacing revised content with new text, while supplementing newly formulated regulations. To increase the content volume of each book, this re-publication changed the original special edition to a large 32nd format, allowing readers to obtain more legal information at the same cost. To distinguish it from the old version, we redesigned the cover of the entire series. To make the series more user-friendly, we reorganized the classification of the relevant handbooks. In summary, during this revision process, we strive to maintain the series' features of accurate content, strong practicality, and ease of use, while giving more consideration to the needs of readers in terms of coverage and arrangement. We aim to be precise and targeted, making this handbook series one of the best in its category. The Legal Publishing Center's Legal Handbook Collection includes over 100 normative documents, including laws, regulations, judicial interpretations, and other materials related to the protection of minors' legitimate rights and interests and related youth work, issued by the state since the founding of the People's Republic of China up to May 2004. It is an indispensable common reference tool for public security, procuratorate, court, and judicial personnel, lawyers, scientific research and teaching personnel, as well as cadres, masses, and youth workers. As China's laws, regulations, and other normative documents continue to be issued, this book will be timely updated to remain current and useful.
