The promulgation and implementation of this law not only accelerated the development of China's civil aviation industry but also promoted the development of theoretical research on civil aviation in China. To further advance the theoretical research on civil aviation law in China and drive the modernization of China's civil aviation legal system, making it better serve the increasingly prosperous civil aviation industry in China, we decided to compile the series "Modern Civil Aviation Law Theory and Practice." "Modern International Civil Aviation Law" is one of the books in this series. This book takes the core part of international aviation activities—international civil aviation transportation—as its research subject and comprehensively discusses the basic content of international civil aviation transportation law in the world today from a theoretical perspective. Compared to similar books, the greatest feature of this book is its relatively detailed analysis and argumentation of the economic background of the formulation of international civil aviation law. This is beneficial for understanding the current status and future development of international civil aviation legislation. Additionally, the book provides a relatively comprehensive introduction to the latest developments in the field of international civil aviation transportation, as well as the legislative status and future trends of relevant legal systems. This is something that is currently lacking in similar books.
