Features: The Uniform Law of International Trade refers to the international trade uniform legal rules formulated through diplomatic conferences between countries and the internationally recognized uniform trade practices in international trade, which are the common rules of international trade. The common rules of international trade can be roughly divided into three categories: The first category is the so-called trade law rules, mainly referring to the rules governing the behavior of countries in managing trade, but also involving the trade activities of parties involved in international trade and some basic legal principles and systems for engaging in international trade; the second category is the uniform rules concerning the rights and obligations of parties involved in international trade, which are commonly known as international commercial rules; the third category is the rules concerning procedural law and applicable law. This book encompasses all three categories of content and organizes the book according to the above three types of rules. For this reason, the book is divided into three parts. During the writing process, attention was also paid to introducing the new international trade uniform rules to the readers in a timely manner. Therefore, in Chapter 3 of this book, the various international trade rules established in the documents after the Uruguay Round are introduced in detail. Understanding these rules is very important, regardless of when China joins the WTO. For example, this book also includes a dedicated chapter to introduce the rules of e-commerce, which are now very popular and important in international trade.
