1. The implementation of this project was supported by the National Social Science Fund Project of China, "The 'One Country, Four Seats' Status and Interrelationships of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan in the WTO" (02BFX037), which was applied for in 2002, and also received the approval of the Guangdong Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project (02N10).
2. Content and Methodological Characteristics: In terms of content, the sections of the research report are closely linked, demonstrating strong logical coherence. The overall content is both comprehensive and creative, balancing theoretical depth and practical application.
3. Achievements and Innovations of the Project: This research has entered a new field of study, exploring issues that have not been previously addressed. It has not only enriched theories in domestic law, international law, and international relations but also explored new challenges in coordinating domestic relationships within international organizations. This provides meaningful guidance for better implementing WTO agreement rules and fostering closer economic and trade cooperation among the four regions.
4. Academic Value and Practical Application: The academic value of this project lies in: on the one hand, enriching theories of international organizations, particularly the WTO, in China; on the other hand, filling the theoretical gap in coordinating domestic regional relationships within international organizations as a newly emerging issue. In the process of argumentation, the project leader has comprehensively applied legal theories such as international legal subjects, the relationship between international law and domestic relations, international organizational law, and international treaty law to explain new situations and problems. This ensures that both interim and final results are grounded in a solid theoretical foundation.
5. Shortcomings and Issues of the Project: The main shortcoming of the research findings is the lack of further investigation into specific measures for establishing closer economic and trade cooperation among the four regions.
6. Further Research Needed: Based on the findings of this project, the project leader will focus on further in-depth exploration in future research.
