Is prostatitis serious?

Patient's question:

Hello! Doctor, could you please advise if these medications can be taken together?
Levofloxacin Hydrochloride Tablets (10 boxes)
Fluvoxamine Maleate Tablets (5 boxes)
Prostat (Prostate) Tablets (15 boxes)
Vitamin B6 Tablets
Will taking these medications significantly improve prostatitis? I am currently taking traditional Chinese medicine for kidney tonification and Ganoderma Spore Powder (to boost immunity). Can these medications be taken together with the traditional Chinese medicine and Ganoderma Spore Powder?

Doctor's answer:

Prostatitis is generally an acute or chronic inflammation caused by infection, with a wide range of blood-borne pathogens. This can be confirmed through careful examination. Symptoms typically include systemic symptoms such as chills, fever, and fatigue, as well as local symptoms like urinary urgency, frequent urination, and purulent urethral discharge. During bowel movements, white secretions may flow from the urethral opening. Treatment can involve gentamicin, kanamycin, or cephalosporin, used alone or in combination. Direct injection of medication into the prostate region via the perineum, or direct injection of the medication into the prostate lesions under ultrasound guidance, can be performed once or twice a week, with 10 sessions constituting one course of treatment. Drinking plenty of water daily is also helpful.
