Features: Outline of the History of China's Political System was compiled under the care and guidance of the Undergraduate Textbook Compilation Committee of China University of Political Science and Law, to meet the teaching needs of undergraduate students in the fields of Political Science and Public Administration. Due to constraints such as class time, this book does not adopt the conventional structure of institutional history (primarily referring to the Qin Dynasty onwards) and has been kept concise in length, striving to align with the title "Outline." This book is the result of collective collaboration by several members of the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of Public Administration at China University of Political Science and Law. As contributions from different individuals were combined, there are inevitable variations in style and writing approach. Although we made extensive efforts during the final stages of compilation, the outcome can only be judged by the relevant readers. The book is divided into three parts: Pre-Qin Political Institutions, Ancient Political Institutions after the Qin Dynasty, and Political Institutions from the Modern Era to the Pre-Founding of the People's Republic of China.
