Features: Confucius said: "To hear the Way in the morning is enough to die in the evening." Yet, being not diligent enough, I can only inquire morning and evening to hear it. Moreover, the Way is boundless; once heard, how can one hear the second? To hear is not to be born; how can one put it into practice? Therefore, to hear in the morning and die in the evening, I dare not say it. The local song of the "Encountering Sorrow" sings: "The road is long, I will seek it high and low." The Way is not far, but people are far from it; only by inquiring morning and evening can one get close to it. This collection and the fragments of thoughts in seeking the Way, though I may be shallow, I dare to present them for your appreciation. My nature is dull and slow, though I do not give up morning and evening, I may not attain the Way. I sincerely hope the readers will kindly teach me.
