Features: Since the implementation of the General Principles of Civil Law, China has successively promulgated or revised many single laws such as the Patent Law, Trademark Law, Copyright Law, Guarantee Law, Partnership Enterprise Law, Contract Law, and Marriage Law. The Supreme People's Court has issued a large number of judicial interpretations, such as the "Opinions on Several Issues of Implementation (Trial)," and administrative organs have issued many supporting regulations and administrative rules. Today, China's civil law system, framed by the General Principles of Civil Law, has basically been completed. Since the promulgation and implementation of the General Principles of Civil Law, with the deepening and expansion of China's reform and opening-up, economic restructuring, and social transformation, profound and significant changes have occurred in the country's political, economic, and social life. However, the provisions and legislative spirit of the General Principles of Civil Law remain suitable for China's national conditions and continue to serve as the basic law for regulating, adjusting, and safeguarding civil activities and civil rights. Even if a Civil Code is formulated in the future, it will still rely on the General Principles of Civil Law as an important legal foundation and the long-standing practical experience accumulated over the years.
