Features: The evidence system is the core of the litigation system. Evidence rules are the legal norms with the highest frequency of application in litigation. The promulgation and implementation of the Supreme People's Court's "Regulations on Several Issues Concerning Civil Litigation Evidence" (hereinafter referred to as the "Evidence Regulations") have significant practical and historical significance. In the past year, courts at all levels in Jiangsu Province have combined practical judicial experience to organize extensive learning and implementation of the "Evidence Regulations," continuously enhancing the ability of judicial personnel to apply the "Evidence Regulations." The Jiangsu High People's Court has promptly formulated guiding documents to address difficulties in the implementation process of the "Evidence Regulations." Additionally, localities have conducted a variety of legal publicity activities centered on the content of the "Evidence Regulations." These measures have effectively guaranteed the implementation of the "Evidence Regulations." However, from the current situation, the implementation results are not yet ideal. First, some civil judges have not studied the "Evidence Regulations" deeply enough, and modern judicial concepts have not been fully established. Psychological reservations and a sense of difficulty in applying the "Evidence Regulations" remain relatively strong. Second, the promotion of the "Evidence Regulations" has not been comprehensive enough, and the public and media have not yet achieved a high level of recognition of the "Evidence Regulations." The existence of these issues stems, fundamentally, from some comrades not fully and profoundly understanding the legal function and social value of the "Evidence Regulations." Therefore, comprehensively improving society's awareness of the importance of the "Evidence Regulations" is the immediate task of the courts.
