Features: The Lawyer's Digest is a large digest-style publication primarily aimed at lawyers. Adhering to the editorial philosophy of "independent spirit and free thought," it selects articles that highlight intellectual depth, international perspective, and forward-thinking. It's a Western scene where lawyers first become judges, but in China today, judges may resign or lose motivation and turn to practicing law instead. Several judges I taught "who pursued an in-service Master of Laws degree and quickly found a law firm to start anew after graduation" are examples. There are also those with a broader vision, who, as they put it, "become judges or work in government agencies first to build their networks, then transition to practicing law." On the surface, this seems like a detour, but in reality, it's a shortcut. These people are all honest and quite helpless.
