Features: The significant importance of Russian law research in China has been widely recognized in academia, but the current state of Russian law research in China is unsatisfactory. Although some people are conducting research, it remains relatively scattered and has not formed a "collective strength." Its influence in the legal community is still not significant, and it is also far from meeting practical needs. The formation of this situation is closely related to the lack of large-scale specialized journals in the Russian legal community, leaving many authors with no platform to publish their work. We hope that the publication of this series can provide a platform for Russian law researchers across the country to exchange ideas, publish works on Russian law in a concentrated, continuous, and substantial manner, and contribute to advancing Russian law research in China. This collection focuses on the influence of Soviet Russian law on China and the current state of Russian law and legal systems.
Part 1, "The Influence of Soviet Law on China," elaborates on the historical connections between Soviet law and Chinese law in fields such as legal theory, legal philosophy, civil law, and international law, analyzing both the positive and negative impacts. The second part, "Russian Law and Legal Systems," emphasizes the changes in Russian law since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and reflects on and reforms the legal traditions of the former Soviet Union.
