Features: The purpose of the "Research Report on the Development of Criminal Rule of Law" is, on the macro level, to vigorously promote the progress of China's criminal rule of law, and on the micro level, to facilitate the transformation of criminal law theory into practice in the fields of criminal legislation, criminal justice, and criminal execution. Therefore, focusing on practical issues in the criminal rule of law and striving to solve difficulties in the process of building and improving the criminal rule of law is the most distinctive feature of this series of reports. The 2003 volume (divided into two parts) collects 24 research and consulting reports submitted to the central political and legal organs and relevant ministries and commissions in that year, covering criminal legislation, justice, and penalty execution. It compiles the latest research achievements in Chinese criminal law, Chinese regional criminal law, and international criminal law, integrating theoretical analysis and empirical research from macro to micro. It proposes many theoretical approaches to solve practical problems.
