Third, it pays attention to the connection between theory and practice, addressing several issues in the legal application of specific systems, linking theory with practice, and elaborating the author's academic views to inspire students' thinking and improve their ability to analyze and solve practical problems. Fourth, academically, it strives for innovation. Given that the Civil Code of China is currently being formulated, the 2001 revised Marriage Law will be further modified and improved and incorporated into the Civil Code in the future. Therefore, the authors have commented on some controversial and difficult issues in the revision of the Marriage Law that are debated in academia, put forward their own academic views and suggestions for revising and supplementing legislation, for reference by China's legislative authorities.
