Is asexuality associated with asexuality?

Patient's question:

Every time it's not me who initiates intimacy, and during intimacy, I don't have much reaction either, nor do I feel excited at all. There's no climax, and over time, I get annoyed. Sometimes I strongly object to sexual activity. Is this considered sexual apathy?

Doctor's answer:

Hello! Hypoactive sexual desire disorder refers to a lack of sexual desire, commonly known as having no interest in sexual activity, or it can also be described as a decrease in libido. Common symptoms of hypoactive sexual desire include: in sexual activity, one party is always the initiator, while the other is always passive and understanding. You have no expectations for sex anymore. For you, sex is just a routine. You have no sexual fantasies about your partner. You have sex only twice a month or even less. For women, hypoactive sexual desire can bring many negative effects: 1. It may lead to breast pain; 2. It can cause benign breast disease; 3. It increases the risk of breast cancer.
