Wang Shuo Collection The Rubber Man

Author: Wang Shuo

Publish Date: 2003-06-01
Features: Wang Shuo is lonely in our time. It is he who has insisted on the tradition of realism in Chinese literature and the spirit of facing life in the correct direction. Most people are deceived by his superficial playfulness and delinquent tone, failing to see that he is, at his core, a true enlightenmentist. They overlook the profound humanistic spirit revealed in his novels, his compassion for the underdog, his longing for love, and his pursuit of the value of individual existence. This book includes the short stories "I Will Never Love Again," "The Rubber Man," "I Am a 'Wolf'," "Give Me Strength," "No One Cheers," and "Liu Huifang."
