How to treat prostatic calcification well

Patient's question:

I always feel a bit uncomfortable in my prostate area. After a check-up, it was found that there are calcifications present. The doctor said it doesn't require treatment, but I'm very worried, so I wanted to consult. Could you please tell me: How should prostate calcifications be treated effectively?

Doctor's answer:

Fibrotic spots in the prostate are mostly caused by fibrosis resulting from chronic prostatitis or prostate stones. They generally do not cause any symptoms and are therefore difficult to detect. However, they can be a precursor to prostate stones. Prostate stones are often accompanied by chronic prostatitis and are usually only visible through careful ultrasound examination. Prostate calcification occurs when there has been a previous prostate inflammation, leaving behind fibrotic patches. It generally leads to difficulty in urination. If prostate calcification or stones reappear, treatment is necessary. Fibrosis can expand into stones, causing various symptoms.
