Features: "The Practical Handbook for Party Organization Work" (hereinafter referred to as "The Handbook"), was compiled by the Organization Department of the Central Financial Work Committee in 1999. At that time, the book was written with the aim of addressing the new situation where some financial institutions' Party organizations shifted from territorial leadership to vertical leadership. It was intended to help Party organizations in financial institutions, especially those engaged in organizational work, quickly familiarize themselves with and master some of the rules, basic knowledge, and fundamental methods for handling issues in Party organization work. After its publication, the book was well-received by Party workers and played a certain role in strengthening and improving the Party's construction. In recent years, Party construction has made new progress, and valuable experiences have been summarized and accumulated. Especially after the 16th National Congress held in November 2002, which comprehensively deployed China's reform and opening-up and socialist modernization, proposed the advancement of the great new project of Party construction, and also revised the Party Constitution. In view of this, we have revised "The Handbook" in order to better serve the advancement of Party construction.
